Sailor and her Stroller

Sailor is 10 months old! About a month ago I bought her a baby stroller to help her learn to walk. At first, all she wanted to do is play with her Dora baby doll in the stroller. Now she is actually walking with it! I'm so proud of her! This is a video of her walking this morning.

I wanted to post some new pictures of Sailor, so I got out the camera yesterday and bribed her with a pearl necklace to sit still! She looks so big in these pictures. I cannot believe she will be 9 months old on the 13th. Time really does fly by.

Girl's Weekend

My Mom, Sydney, Sailor and I loaded up and went to Frisco for the weekend. It was a last minute trip--however we were not about to sit at home when the boys were in Vegas! We had a really good time! We literally shopped until we could not fit anything else in the car! One of my favorite things that we did while we were in Frisco is we ate "Dim Sum" for lunch. Dim Sum is traditional Chinese cuisine. You choose from a wide range of small dishes....kind of like ordering a lot of appetizers. It is so much fun! The waitstaff pushes carts, around the restaurant, full of small steamer baskets with different dim sum inside. You have to flag them down to get them to stop by your table, then you choose whichever dim sum you would like. The dim sum at the restaurant we went to, J.S. Chen, was fabulous! It tasted just like the food I had in Hong Kong.

Labor Day in the Stockyards

Shannon, Sailor and I loaded up and went to Fort Worth for Labor Day weekend. We had so much fun! We spent the night at the Stockyards Hotel...it is beautiful! During the day we went shopping at Garden Ridge where I got some really cute frames for Sailor's room, Babies-R-Us for new clothes, and the Hulen Mall. We also ate at two of our favorite restaurants...Pappadeaux's and H3 Ranch. H3 Ranch is located in/next to the Stockyards Hotel. If you haven't been there for breakfast, then you are missing out! You must try the enchiladas and eggs!

Funny Leaves

Sailor had her six month checkup this past Friday. She had to have three shots, and wasn't very happy afterwards. We decided to stay home all weekend because we knew she would be fussy. Friday afternoon she seemed to be fine (loaded up on tylenol), however on Saturday she was feeling the pain. To calm her down, Shannon and I always take her for a walk outside. This seems to relax her instantly. The video below shows how well it worked. This should make you smile!

Birthday at the lake

Mom and Dad bought a lake cabin at Possum Kingdom! We are so excited! They officially took ownership July 1st, so of course we celebrated Shannon's birthday at the lake. We took Shannon to the Wildcatter to celebrate his 30th birthday...then came back to the cabin to eat his favorite cake--Black Forest. He told me when we first started dating that his family would get him a Black Forest cake from Margie's Sweet shop every year for his birthday. So that's what we do!

Mom bought Sailor a swimming pool at Walmart. It is so cute! We sat her in her Bumbo chair in the water. She seemed to be having a good time until I poured water on her legs. She screamed! I think the water was too cold.

Reunions and Weddings!

We have been busy busy busy! Last weekend we had our Palmer Family Reunion, Sarah and Clark's wedding and of course Father's Day. I didn't get any pictures of us at the reunion. I managed to get one picture of Sailor before the wedding...and one when we got home that night (she wasn't in a good mood--very unusual). However, I took a picture of her the other day in her new outfit and adorable matching bow. It is by far my favorite, and my Mom's favorite, outfit on her. My cousin, Julie Lane, told me about this bow shop in Wichita Falls that will custom make bows to match outfits. I LOVE this place! Anyways...here is the latest pictures.
